Animal Logic, who animated the previous four Lego movies, did not return to animate the film, as that would be considered Warner Bros.' ., despite Lego and Warner Bros. Instead, the animation was done by Pure Imagination Studios in Los Angeles and Zebu Animation Studios in India.
