Brown has gone in a new direction
Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, now living at the Retired Home for Bears. With the Brown family in tow, a thrilling adventure begins when a secret plunges them into an unexpected journey. The director of the previous two films, Paul King, has decided not to direct this installment, but he suggested the idea for this third film and was involved as an executive producer on Graham Norton i gosti: Billy Crystal/Emily Mortimer/Hugh Bonneville/Pharrell Williams/Michael Kiwanuka (2024). OK, Ms. For those who don't know, previous incumbent Sally Hawkins said it was time to move on. I tried to warm to her, but to me Emily Mortimer is just an older product of the London School of Lovely Girls.
For a few minutes I thought, oh no!!
I know the show has moved on, but Emily's opening moves are irritatingly flat and uninspiring. I tried very hard to warm up to her, she made strange progress later in the film... The least they could have done is give her a meaningful script, she seemed too much like a little woman who doesn't say much. Sorry Em! Same goes for Madeleine Harris who plays Judy, next time maybe more lines, for both of them. She may have tried to be Sally Hawkins at times, I'm not sure, but she had big shoes to fill and Sally was a real success.
Let's be fair
In the end, they all played their roles very well. Be that as it may, the lovable Peruvian takes the initiative this time and rushes to the aid of family members. This journey takes him all over the world where... A family member is in trouble and the oldest folly and mortal sin is the cause of all the mischief. The scenery in the distance is stunning, just beautiful, it inspired me to go there, as does London, which is grimly happy. There's a lot of hilarity in the film, action and tearjerkers too, but very young children who aren't very brave won't find the series as warm and scary in places, I thought so sometimes.
the target audience
Visually it's just as fantastic as the previous films, while the script is a bit flat and a little predictable, the mysteries revealed were so simple a five year old could figure them out... aha... Haha.... that doesn't take away from the CGI impact of the film and is particularly deafening. Forget it if you have healthy phobias of certain creatures (not snakes). Bonneville seems to have had a hair transplant, I'm not sure, but he delivers a great performance as always, as do the Walters and some great newcomers to the story.
a glamorous character from the last film makes an appearance
Hey... All I'm saying is, I don't think it's the end.
