A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen using the voice of someone called the "Mentats of Dune." All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. Okay, honestly, I've been putting off watching this because every trailer has seemed boring.

It's definitely interesting

Tonight, out of sheer desperation for something new to watch, I snapped it and decided to give it a try. You know what, I'm glad I did. The acting is decent, the world is solid, and there are some very dynamic characters.

The biggest downside is the pacing so far

The first episode really drags towards the end, but I'm not going to lie that the ending was good. My only concern is that this might have the same problem that the power rings have. Too much buildup with a lack of delivery.

Only time will tell
